2001 -2016

Established in 2012, the new museum in Fiscardo houses a collection of implements, artefacts and old photographs which give a tantalising glimpse of life in Fiscaro in times past.
Electricity did not come to Fiscardo until 1974!

If you are interested in the history of Fiscardo, Kefalonia or Greece in General, a visit to the Fiscardo Museum offers an interesting collection of implements and photographs which shows how islanders used to survive in an isolated agricultural environment without the benefit of electricity or sophisticate machinery.

Entrance to the museum is Euro 2.5 which includes a complimentary bar of natural, hand made olive soap as a souvenir of your visit

Open daily from 09:00 until late, May to October, the museum is situated on the harbour side, next to the large supermarket and opposite Vasso's restaurant.
