Zavalata Beach
Known both as Aghios Andreas beach and Zavalata beach, this is the nearest beach if you are staying in, or visiting Fiscardo. As it is only a short stroll from the harbour, it is the easiest and closest beach to reach on foot. Ideal too, for an early morning swim if you are staying in one of the nearby accommodations.

Situated close to the car park and just below the road – access is easy.
There is an archaeological site on the beach which is the remains of a Roman Villa.
Olive trees provide welcome shade and an ideal picnic spot.
Great snacks and pastries are available in the village just a few minutes walk away.
There are fantastic views of Ithaca in the background.
The water is clear and good for swimming.
Being situated just outside the entrance to the harbour, this is a good place to observe the ferries and yachts as they enter and leave the port.
Zavalata beach is easy to find. Just walk around the harbour, past the stone jetty and the beach can be seen just ahead of you beyond the Roman Cemetery. Use Google Maps
