Tselendata
A Historical Hamlet between Fiskardo and Matsoukata
An atmospheric village set above the road that links Fiskardo with Manganos, via Matsoukata. Once the home of wealthy merchants trading with Italy, history has somehow perpetuated, and many of the homes have been renovated and are owned by Italians. At around 2.8 km from Fiskardo, with Foki beach close by, Tselendata is a great place to stay. Directions to Fiscardo here.
Built before the advent of motor vehicles, the narrow tracks and pathways were designed for donkeys and still give this lovely village a quaint and genuine atmosphere. There are also lovely views to Ithaca and Lefkas from some of the houses.
