Aghia Kyriaki

Like the Caribbean

Aghia Kyriaki Beach

About 35 k from Fiscardo

Looks and feels Carribean

Excellent Beach Bar

Sun Beds and Umbrellas

Plenty of parking

The palm frond umbrellas, together with the sea colour and fine shingle give this lovely beach a definite Caribbean feel.

To get to Aghia Kyriaki from Fiscardo, take the main road towards Argostoli and continue until the crossroads just after the turning for Myrtos Beach. Take the right turning and continue for approximately 8 kilometres. As you enter the village of Angonas, keep a sharp eye for a narrow road on your right. It should be signposted but is just after a small shop and the turning is tight and you may have to reverse once to negotiate the turn. Once you have made the turn, wind your way down until you come to a small harbour. Turn right and continue along the dirt track above the beach. This is quite bumpy. You will soon see the beach and umbrellas ahead of you.   Click for Google Maps.

There is plenty of parking and there are good sunbeds and umbrellas available for a small charge.

The beach restaurant set on the hillside just above, is excellent and has a good menu as well is ice creams and cold drinks.

The fine shingle is almost, but not quite sand.

Views towards the cliffs of the Paliki peninsula to the left and as far as Agrilias on the Erissos peninsula to the right.

If you back-track to the small harbour there is a restaurant that serves locally caught fish.
