Getting to Fiscardo
Possibly the title of this page should read, ‘Getting to Kefalonia’ as, before you can make your way to Fiscardo, you need to set foot on Kefalonia!
Realistically speaking, and without deliberately stating the obvious, there are just two ways of arriving on the island – by air or sea!
Travel to Kefalonia by Air
All flights to Kefalonia land at Argostoli Airport (EFL). This is about an hour and 15 minutes by car from Fiscardo . Slightly less in a taxi, as the driver will be sure of the route and rather longer by bus.

Ferries to Kefalonia
If you are traveling by Ferry, your port of arrival, will be dependent on where you sailed from. The only ferries currently arriving directly in the harbour of Fiscardo are those originating on the island of Lefkas. The current route is Nidri to Fiscardo

Car Hire
Once you’ve arrived, you may prefer to pick up a hire car and drive yourself to Fiscardo. The drive from the airport is around an hour and fifteen minutes.
