Dafnoudi Beach
Walk down Spectacular Valley
Small Cave on the Beach
Dafnoudi is a beautiful secluded beach at the bottom of a steep natural valley. Shade is limited when the sun is high so remember to take a beach umbrella. There is even a small and very cool cave at the waters edge with its own tiny beach inside.
To drive to Dafnoudi take the main road from Fiscardo towards Argostoli. Continue towards Antapata. As you enter the village, just before the church, take the first turning on your right and continue down until you see the sign to the beach.

There is plenty of space for cars to park along the road.
The walk down the valley is particularly beautiful and quite dramatic as you emerge from the trees onto the pebbly beach.
The pebbles are relatively large and not particularly comfortable to lie on, so an air bed or rubber mat is advised.
Please note. Because Dafnoudi is secluded it is popular with naturists. In fact Dafnoudi is mentioned on a naturist website.
If you are a naturist, please be discreet. Older Greek people, especially when accompanied by young children, do not appreciate displays of nudity.
If you are at all offended by naturists, please remember that nudity is not legal on Greek beaches and you are perfectly within your rights to ask anyone naked or partialy naked, to cover up!
The walk in the valley to and from the beach takes around ten minutes. For keen walkers, there is a route on foot from Fiscardo via Antipata.
Please see our walking page for details of this.
